My name is Renee.

I utilize the most current and effective methods to help you reach your goals. I collaborate with you to identify goals surrounding your current life challenges. My focus is to help you heal, energize, and become aware of your inner strengths while we explore your feelings, beliefs, and behaviors.
I implement a variety of approaches when working with you and your partner. My goal is to help you resolve conflict, increase connection, and improve communication skills.
I utilize a variety of interactive methods to help you and your family grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward so that you can communicate more effectively, resolve conflicts, and ultimately better understand one another.
Trauma can have a lasting effect on your life and can make you feel as though your brain has been highjacked. I use a variety of interventions to help reduce adverse symptoms and assist you in moving fully into the present.
"There is no normal life that is free of pain. It’s the very wrestling with our problems that can be the impetus for our growth."
I can help you unlock the power of the brain using BrainSpotting - a focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms.
I offer intensive therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families who are looking to structure their sessions around a particular topic and spend a large block of time processing that issue. This can be an alternative to regular weekly counseling sessions.
I work with you and your partner to prepare for marriage. During this time of preparation, I will help you explore your strengths as a couple as well as growth opportunities. Some areas of focus can include: extended family considerations, finances, roles and expectations, communication methods and conflict resolution.
“Being able to feel safe with other people is probably the single most important aspect of mental health; safe connections are fundamental to meaningful and satisfying lives.
Neuroscience research shows that the only way we can change the way we feel is by becoming aware of our inner experience and learning to befriend what is going on inside ourselves.”
