Yes, below is a convenient link that will provide you with the new client forms that must be filled out before our first session.

Cancellation/Missed Appointment Policy

I require 24 hours notice for all cancellations. Failure to cancel within that time frame results in a charge of your full session fee.

What confidentiality standards are you required to meet?

Unless required by law to break confidentiality, everything you tell me will be confidential.

As a mandated reporter, I am required to break confidentiality in cases of child abuse, elder abuse, harm to self or others, or a court subpoena.

Are you available outside of business hours?

I typically return calls within 48 hours of receiving your message. I usually see clients on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I also offer evening appointments for those with hectic work schedules.

If you are having a counseling emergency, call 911 or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at

1-800-273-8255.

Will I get better, and how long will it take?

Of course you can get better. I would have the worst job in the world if people didn't. That being said, therapy is a very individual process. We must first determine if we are a good match--the therapeutic relationship is often the most important factor driving success. Sometimes a shift can be made simply by being in the presence of someone who is compassionate and believes you can heal.
